Equipment Rental Policies

We strive to keep our equipment in top working order at all times. 'Murphy's Law' however, says that problems sometimes and will occur. If you ever have any problems or questions about an item that you rent, please call us right away. Many problems can be solved over the phone. We will do everything possible to help you in a timely and efficient manner.

Rental Period

*Half Day - 4 Hours (example: customer picks up tool at 8am it will be due back at 12pm) *Day Rate - 24 hours *Week Rate - 7 days *Month - 28 days NOTE: Rental is charged for all time out, not time used. For you to get the best value for your money, return all items on or before the DUE date and time on your rental contract.


A valid driver's license is required for ALL rentals. A major credit card may be required as a second form of identification.


Payment is required at the time of rental unless the customer has an open charge account with us. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, America Express, cash and checks are acceptable forms of payments.

Damage Waiver

A percentage of the rental rate will automatically be charged for damage waiver unless declined on the rental contract at the time of pickup. Our damage waiver is 10% of the rental rate for an item. The damage waiver will cover anything considered normal wear and tear. It will not cover anything considered obvious abuse. If the damage waiver is declined, customer is responsible for any and all charges that may occur from damage to an item. 


Out of consideration for other customers concerning item availability, we ask that cancellations, unless due to inclement weather, are made at least 24 hours in advance.

Delivery and Pick-up

Delivery and pick-up are available at reasonable rates. Please call for the charge to your specific location. A WBBS employee must deliver and pick-up the Bobcat. Loading and unloading equipment is a courtesy. We will help the customer get the equipment loaded and secured. We are not responsible for any damages that occur during loading, transportation or unloading. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure they are using a vehicle that can safely transport the equipment and have the means to secure it without damaging either the vehicle or the piece of equipment.


Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from pick-up or delivery until item is returned. All items should be secured and protected from the weather. Additional charges for replacements are made for missing or damaged items. A cleaning fee of no less than $25 will be charged if rental items are returned dirty and not in good shape.


All equipment comes with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full, or a fuel service charge will apply. A $50 security deposit is charged for the Bobcats, when the Bobcat is picked up a WBBS employee will stop to refuel it. We deduct that amount from the deposit and you receive the remaining balance back in the same form of payment as you paid it.

Hour Metered Equipment

The rental rate for the Bobcats are based on the equipment being used on a standard 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week and 160 hours a month.




Party Rental Policies


Payment is required at the time the rental item(s) is picked up or delivered. Orders for delivery must be paid in full prior to delivery or have the balance paid by check sent with the delivery guys. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, checks and cash are acceptable forms of payment. A valid driver's license or other official picture I.D. is also required.


For weekday events, you may keep party items for 24 hours. For weekend events, you may pick up the party items as early as Saturday morning and return them on Monday morning for a one day charge. All prices quoted are "event" (same as one day) rates unless otherwise specified and are for customer pick-up and return. Delivery is available for an additional charge.

Delivery and Pick-up

Delivery and pick-up is available for an additional charge that depends on the location. This is for "tailgate" delivery, which means our driver will unload your order to a single, convenient ground level location, such as a garage, front door or driveway, unless previously arranged and billed. Our driver will unload and stack your order but not carry it inside and set up. After use, your order should be repacked and restacked in the same location as delivered. We make regular deliveries during business hours on Fridays and pick up during business hours on Mondays. The cost of delivery could double or triple depending on the day and time as well as circumstances. Please call for an approximate cost of these services out of regular business hours or regular delivery and pick up days.

Damage Waiver

A percentage of the rental rate will automatically be charged for the damage waiver unless declined on the rental contract at the time of pick-up or making the reservation. Our damage waiver is 10% of the rental rate for an item. If damage waiver is declined, customer is responsible for any and all charges that may occur from damage to an item. Tables, chairs and electrical items are not weather proof, please do not expose them to rain or harsh weather. The customer is responsible for the security and safe keeping of all rental items from the time of delivery to the time of return. There will be replacement charges assessed for all missing, damaged or broken items. The waiver does not apply toward shortages.

Tent Rental

All tent rental pricing only includes the rental fee but not set up or delivery (due to varying locations).
Set up prices are as follows:
20 x 20 - $150
20 x 30 - $200
20 x 40 - $250

Customer is responsible for contacting Tennessee One Call (811) to locate underground utilities before tent is set up. White Bluff Building Supply is not responsible for any damage to underground utilities if no markings are present.
